Q Tell me about your tour guide?
A Morocco Trail Tours is owned and operated by your guides, we will accompany you all the way. Believe me; we enjoy travelling on motorcycles as much as you do. This is not our job, it is our PASSION!
Q What if I break down?
A On all our tours, we provide a 4x4 and trailer which accompanies the motorcycles along the route. Of course it is at the rear of the pack and so may take a time to catch up. If it is necessary your motorbike will be placed on the trailer and you in the vehicle. All efforts will be made to assist you in the repair of your motorbike. However if the motorbike can not be repaired on the road, Morocco Trail Tours will transport your bike and you back to Spain ; where your own Break Down Recovery Insurance ( AA / RAC ) will cover you!
Should your motorcycle require repairs at a garage in Morocco. The client would be responsible for all recovery/repair and associated costs incurred including accommodation, meals, telephone charges, etc.
Q Do I need any special vaccinations?
A Morocco does not require any particular vaccinations, but we would recommend you speak with your own doctor & take independent medical advice.
Q Should I bring cash or credit cards for spending money?
A Money is easily obtained at most ATM machines, banks or currency exchange offices. Travellers cheques can be exchanged at most banks. Moroccan currency can be purchased after we have cleared entry customs. Credit Cards are widely accepted throughout Spain and in major stores, hotels, and fuel stations in Morocco . There are cash points in various locations throughout the tours. You can also exchange foreign currency in most of the hotels.
Q How much should I bring?
A You need to bring enough to cover anything that you may need, fuel, food, drinks, wine etc. While travelling through Spain the Euro is the local currency. A moderate sum to cover lunch, dinner, snacks, and fuel will be required. Fuel can be purchased on all major credit cards. While travelling through Morocco, Moroccan Dirhams are required and these can only be purchased on entry into the country. Allow equivalent of 20-30 Euros for lunch and dinner each day while en route through Spain . Fuel in Morocco is at least 20% cheaper than in Europe .
Moroccan Dirhams can NOT be taken out of Morocco, therefore all local currency must be exchanged before you leave Morocco! |
